Ellen Jones

Ellen developed her interest in the law after working as a court reporter for Rural Press and Fairfax Media. She completed her Bachelor of Laws in 2014. Her main areas of practice are family law, conveyancing and property law and industrial relations. Ellen is a skilled communicator who ensures her clients understand the legal issues of their matter in plain English.

Ellen’s focus in her family law matters is assisting her clients come to a resolution which is cost-effective and avoids the need for litigation. Ellen’s calm and compassionate approach helps to put her clients at ease during what can be an incredibly stressful period of their lives. Her experience covers both property and parenting matters from the initial stages of advice to final hearings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

Ellen has assisted thousands of clients to buy and sell their homes and has experience in residential and rural conveyancing, intergenerational property transfers and off the plan contracts. Her focus is on ensuring a stress-free process and communicating with clients, agents and colleagues in a timely manner.

Ellen also advises employers and employees in workplace matters involving workplace agreements, unfair dismissal and discrimination.

In her spare time, Ellen is a keen dancer, occasional jogger and mother of three gorgeous children.
