Peter Wilson


Peter Wilson is a consultant solicitor at Cheney Suthers Lawyers.

Peter Wilson joined the firm in 1986 and established a thriving litigation practice in areas ranging from motor vehicle, medical, family, employment, criminal and commercial disputes.

He is a graduate of Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School, holds degrees in economics and law from the Australian National University and has a Diploma in Financial Management from the University of New England. 

Peter was admitted as solicitor in 1977 and he is also a registered tax agent and has a particular interest in taxation law.

Peter is a wheat, wool and lamb producer from Trangie and is also a Board member and treasurer of the NSW Farmers Association. He is Chairman of the Association’s Business, Economics and Trade Committee and its representative on the National Farmers Federation Trade Committee. He has also been a member of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board and is currently Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee.
